Summary
This update focuses on three things:
Drop rates were adjusted to bring back the classic farming pace (with a small boost).
Key NPC systems (AutoBuff, Heroic Costume crafting, Freebies) were improved for reliability and fairness.
Server stability improvements to reduce lag spikes and keep logs from growing forever.
1) Drop Rate Rebalance (Restore “Old Feel” + Small Increase)
What changed
We removed the “extreme” drop boosts that made farming feel too easy and made rare loot stop feeling rare.
Non-card drops (Common / Healing / Usable / Equipment):
Standardized to 25x for:
Normal monsters
Boss monsters
MVP monsters
This is meant to feel close to the old pacing (around 20x) but slightly better.
Card drops (kept high on purpose):
Normal cards: 2000x
Boss cards: 1000x
MVP cards: 500x
Cards remain intentionally high as part of the server’s setup.
What “5%” means (important)
The “5%” example is just math, not automatically “a card”.
If something has a base drop of 0.01%, then:
20x (old feel): 0.01% → 0.20%
25x (new balance): 0.01% → 0.25%
500x (very high): 0.01% → 5.00%
So 5% happens when a category is boosted to 500x.
In our current settings, MVP cards are at 500x, so if an MVP card’s base rate is 0.01%, it becomes 5%.
Optional note
If you want the exact old feel again, we can set the non-card 25x back to 20x.
2) AutoBuff Improvements (Quality + Reliability)
Fixed rare cases where AutoBuff menus could show outdated or incorrect options.
Improved menu stability so settings update properly when you open the AutoBuff menu.
Added extra safety checks to prevent rare “menu list” problems from causing errors.
Player impact: fewer weird menu issues, smoother AutoBuff experience.
3) Heroic Quest Costume Shop Improvements (Crafting Safety + Cleanup)
Crafting is now strictly one item at a time to prevent confusion or unexpected results.
Added better checks so crafting won’t proceed if the recipe data is missing or invalid.
“Check Materials” now works more reliably for items with long or spaced names (uses item ID properly).
Fixed an item placed in the wrong shop category:
Item 50493 was moved to the correct category (Upper Headgear).
Player impact: crafting feels safer, clearer, and more consistent.
4) Freebies NPC Improvements (Fairness + Anti-Abuse)
Improved protection against multiple-claim abuse.
Better handling for returning/older accounts so players don’t accidentally lose access to what they should receive.
Added safer checks to prevent “wrong reward” outcomes when something doesn’t match properly.
Player impact: fairer freebies, fewer loopholes, fewer edge-case issues.
5) Emperium Siege Instance
The Siege instance script is currently being debugged and checked.
If you encounter issues (stuck progress, missing spawns, broken objectives), report:
map name + what happened + approximate time.
6) Server Stability & Maintenance Updates
Reduced database load spikes caused by frequent heavy backups.
Backups were adjusted to avoid getting “stuck” if the backup server can’t be reached.
Player impact: smoother performance and fewer random lag spikes over time.
