Whitelist FerocityRO.exe in Windows Defender (Windows 10/11)
Why whitelist?
Ferocity RO uses a game patcher and an anti-cheat (e.g., Gepard Shield). These are legitimate tools, but because they update often and watch the game process, Windows Defender can sometimes slow, block, or quarantine the game files by mistake.
Whitelisting tells Defender: “These files/folder are from a source I trust,” so your game can launch, patch, and save without random interruptions.
Only whitelist if you installed the game from the official Ferocity RO download. Do not turn off your antivirus entirely.
